Lemongrass 2 sticks (organic)
With it's subtle citrus flavour, lemongrass is heavily used in Asian cuisine. Lemongrass can be used to lift almost anything (stir-fries, marinades, soups, sauces) and is perfect in a hearty and refreshing Vietnamese Pho.
To release the aromatic oils give each stalk a good bash with the flat side of your knife then throw it straight into the pot. Can also be grated with a microplane and added to dressings and sauces if you don't want to be fishing it out before serving.
A fun way to use it is as a skewer for prawns then rub a little red curry paste on them and throw them on the grill. Perfect for a summer BBQ.
