Traditional Roast Chicken – serves 6
One of our favourite Sunday Roasts. Sladesdown farm free range Chicken is so tender and delicious!
We simply prepare and then bundle all the root veg around the chicken, season and pop in the oven. We steam the broccoli and Romanesco and add a cheese sauce to the Romanesco. The juices from the Chicken are a wonderful base for gravy!
Leftover chicken goes into Monday's sandwiches and the bones are used to make a stock for a weekday meal, one of our favourites being a risotto with bacon and peas! Bon Appetit
